Agrinio coffee with anise and Tentoura loukoumi (Turkish delight)

Method
Place water, coffee, sugar (if you prefer your coffee sweet), and 1/2 star anise into a “briki” (small coffee pot). Bring to a boil over very low heat, and when the coffee starts to bubble, serve with a Tentoura loukoumi on the side.

More information
Greek coffee is often accompanied by a traditional sweet treat called loukoumi, which is made from pure, natural ingredients and characterized by its distinctive aroma and velvety texture. In Western Greece, it’s customary to add a special twist to the recipe by incorporating Tentoura extract, a famous liqueur from Patras. The spices found in Tentoura, including cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, amplify the flavor and aroma of the loukoumi!
