More information
Eggs are a staple ingredient in traditional breakfasts in Western Greece, and one unique way to prepare them is as egg balls. These egg balls are made by combining the crumb of kneaded bread with PDO Kalavryta Feta cheese, which boasts a firm texture, intense peppery flavor, and rich aftertaste. Produced by the Agricultural Dairy Cooperative of Kalavryta, this renowned feta cheese is made from pasteurized goat and sheep milk and aged for approximately three months in brine-filled beechwood barrels.
